(Richmond, CA July 14, 2010) For many years, savvy musky men have known that a deep throated, low frequency pitched lure could call in large fish from great distances.  After experimenting for more than a dozen years with handmade models, noted angler and TV’s "Hunt For Big Fish" Host Larry Dahlberg has finally done it!!  After teaching 1000's of anglers how to make their own on his show... Larry has combined his talents with "premium" lure manufacturer RIVER2SEA to bring this years best musky innovation, the WHOPPER PLOPPER  Reading the musky angler blogs for the past 5 years, the WHOPPER PLOPPER is the most talked about.... and anticipated lure for 2011.  Anglers fishing this lure claim it's unbeatable for big musky.... with some claiming 30 - 40 fish on one prototype model.  "One guy offered me $100.00 for mine.... and I wouldn't take it" states one of the local musky guides. 

RIVER2SEA has put all their "state of the art" innovations into this new lure.  Made of two separate parts on one harness, the front section is made of high impact plastic, and features RIVER2SEA’s "internal scaling" for side and belly flash.  But the real secret of the WHOPPER PLOPPER is it's large propeller like soft pliable tail that rotates on a solid stainless steel harness.  Not only does this add durability to this "rumbling dynamo" but it also allows anglers to catch fish repeatedly and bend it back into position if necessary. 

Finishing off the lure with a "sting"....
